Thanks to its good connections with the mainland, the island of Krk is an ideal starting point for excursions. If you like a combination of history, culture and nature do not miss the islet of Košljun. Caving enthusiasts can peek into the depths and visit the Biserujka cave rich in cave decorations - flowstones, stalactites and columns. In addition to this is the picturesque town of Vrbnik, which rises high above the sea, whilst its enogastronomic offer will not leave even the most demanding gourmets indifferent. If you would like to explore the surrounding islands and places, there is a huge offer of boat excursions. Nearby are other famous tourist destinations such as the cradle of tourism, Opatija, and the Plitvice Lakes National Park, which boasts 16 lakes filled with crystal blue water.
